A mixed bag for the weekend.

Today: It’s a frosty and foggy start to the day, but today ends up being the nice day of the weekend as we stay dry with sunshine throughout the morning and clouds increasing through the afternoon. Highs top out in the low to mid 50s with an east wind at 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Steady showers start to lift north into our southern counties. Skies will have already become mostly cloudy across the area. Lows range from the mid 30s north to the mid 40s south. Winds stay easterly at 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday: This is going to be a pretty nasty day. Light to moderate rain blankets a vast majority of the area for the day, with heavy pockets of rain, especially south. Highs only reach the mid to upper 40s in addition to a very strong east wind at 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph.

Monday: Rain continues Sunday night through early Monday morning before moving out to the east. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s with a breezy north-northeast wind. Rainfall amounts could total up to 2" south of I-80 and between 0.50" to 1.50" north of I-80.

Rest of the Week: We dry out on Wednesday before another system brings a high chance for rain Wednesday and Thursday with strong breezes. Friday looks mostly cloudy. Highs stay in the low to mid 50s with lows in the 40s. We’ll be dry for the Halloween weekend.
