Today: Once again, the cloud cover has taken over our skies this morning, as a stalled low pressure system pushes clouds from east to west across the area. Some clouds may break in the afternoon, especially in the west, to give us partly sunny skies. Highs today will be in the upper 60s northeast to the low and mid 70s for most. Winds blow in from the east northeast around 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: The mix of clear skies and cloud cover continues. Lows should be on the mild side, in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will be easterly at 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: More of the same with partly sunny skies, but this time, there’s a chance for some light afternoon showers in our southern counties. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s with an east wind at 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday: Scattered, light showers remain possible for Wednesday night through Thursday night with highs in the low to mid 70s. Overall accumulations through this week should be less than a quarter inch.
Weekend: We dry up on Friday with a south wind developing. Highs return to the upper 70s Friday and eventually low 80s Saturday thanks to a breezy south wind and despite partly sunny skies. We have a rain chance on Sunday as a cold front comes through.
