TRACKING: Cloudy and cool today; Frosty temperatures tonight

Today: Clouds will continue to hang tight throughout the afternoon. It is also going to be a bit breezy with a northwest wind 10-20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph at times. This means temperatures aren’t going to move much, with highs only reaching the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Tonight: Clouds are expected to depart just a bit and the wind will calm down. This is going to lead to a cold night with temperatures dipping into the 30s. Widespread frost is likely, especially in our northern and western counties.

A FREEZE WARNING & FROST ADVISORY are in effect tonight through tomorrow morning for portions of the KWWL viewing area. Crops and sensitive plants all are susceptible to damage.

Friday: More clouds are expected throughout the day, with maybe a stray shower or some sprinkles by late morning or early afternoon. Temperatures will be cool once again with highs in the 50s. The wind will be northwest 5-10 mph.

Friday Night: The sky clears a bit and it will get chilly. No rain is expected for Friday night football games, but dress warm with temperatures dipping into the 40s, and eventually 30s overnight.
