Motorcyclist injured after crash on Highway 100

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL)- A 41-year old man is in the hospital after crashing his motorcycle on Highway 100 Saturday morning.

It happened at 11:15 a.m. just west of Ushers Ferry Road in the area of Highway 100.

According to authorities, 41-year old Seandon Hodges of Cedar Rapids was riding with a group of 30 other motorcyclists when he got too close to another rider, lost control and side-swiped the median wall.

No other riders were hurt. Hodges was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet when he crashed.
