CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) - A family is displaced after a fire fully engulfed a mobile home Saturday night.

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday at 159 Summer Circle NE. All occupants, including children and pets were out of the residence.

The CRFD say they knocked down the main body of fire and protected nearby buildings. The Cedar Rapids Animal Control was called to shelter the cats inside the home. The Red Cross is also providing support for the displaced family.

No one was hurt in the fire and no medical treatment was required.

The CRFD says the fire is under investigation.
