Football Great JJ Moses returns to the Cedar Valley

CEDAR FALLS(KWWL)--The cedar valley welcomes home a successful native son... It is the Harvest Conference at Gallagher-Bluedorn in Cedar Falls.

Waterloo East and Iowa State football great JJ Moses returned tonight as the keynote speaker for the event.

JJ at 5 feet six inches tall----- persevered to become one of the smallest players to ever make an active National Football League roster.

Following his NFL  career... JJ served many roles in the NFL for the Houston Texans organization--including Director of Player Development and as a mentor to the team's players.

While with the Texans --JJ Moses developed a successful program called "Prepare to Win".. where he mentored NFL players on goal setting...

JJ Moses returns to the Cedar Valley

Tonight JJ Moses shared his message of inspiration with UNI students and others in the Cedar Valley.

JJ Moses, "To come back and motivate and inspire others to win in life to have a winning mindset--my journey to make it to the NFL was not a perfect road but I learned some strategies of how to win in life---and some the things I want to give to people this is evening is number one--being prepared for your opportunities--you never know when an opportunity will come in life--being in college I was ready for an opportunity of a lifetime so i ant to to give two keys to helped people prepare for their opportunities."

JJ Moses will also be releasing a book, "Prepare to Win" Strategies in HOW TO HAVE A WINNING MINDET."
