WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) With the split exactly along party lines, the Iowa Legislature Tuesday rejected the first set of Iowa redistricting maps recently announced by the nonpartisan Legislative Services Agency.
All 32 Republican Senators voted to reject the proposed redistricting, and all 18 Democrats voted in favor of it.
The LSA has 35 days to come up with a second proposal.
KWWL Political analyst, Dr. Chris Larimer, appeared on The Steele Report Sunday to talk about the first proposal.
