DES MONIES, Iowa (KWWL) -- On Monday, a new law goes into effect, requiring Iowa schools to offer full-time in-person learning despite the pandemic.

Governor Kim Reynolds signed the bill into law last month. Under this law, school districts not previously offering 100% in-person learning must now offer it.

Even though parents are now given the option to send their kids back to school, they should still be aware of school delays, virtual learning for the day, and school closings. Here is a list of school closing and delays for today.

Reported early this morning, there is a chance of light flurries in the afternoon that could continue into the overnight hours, and today's high will be in the single digits. To learn more about today's weather, click here.
