LINN COUNTY (Iowa) - The Linn County Sheriff's Office has closed Highway 13 east of Cedar Rapids for a jackknifed semi.

Deputies say both directions of traffic are closed because of a jackknifed semi at the intersection of Highway 13 and Cottage Grove Parkway. The closure extends all the way to Highway 100 to the north, and Mt. Vernon Road to the south.

The sheriff's office has not provided details on the actual accident at this time. Stay with KWWL for updates.
