CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -- Cedar Rapids firefighters rescued a kitten from an eight-inch pipe on Saturday night.
According to a Facebook post, the department received a call about the stuck kitten around 4 p.m.
The crew was able to successfully rescue the kitten from the pipe by using an extra-long capture device and lowering it down the pipe.
The kitten was returned to its owner.
"Some days you run into a burning building, some days you save a kitten trapped in a pipe...All in a day's work," the post said.
