WATERLOO(KWWL)--After losing a close match in last year's 1A State Singles Championship match, Decorah's Caden Branum returned this year and made some special history. The Viking junior beat Xavier freshman Charlie LeGrand 6-4, 6-1 in the 2023 1A Singles final to capture the first singles title in Decorah history.
Decorah finished second in doubles, Wahlert was third and Waverly-Shell Rock was Fourth.
