CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KWWL) -- Liz Ebensberger, a special education teacher at Southdale Elementary School in Cedar Falls, is the last 'Tools for Schools' winner of the school year.
With her grant money she would like to buy resources and build a library targeting social and emotional learning.
After seeing students struggle in these areas, she hopes this new addition will help students empower themselves.
"I'm hoping they have skills that they feel they can socialize with others, but also problem solve, think flexibly, and know how to cope when they have those big feelings," Ebensberger said.
Ebensberger believes building the library will not only help her students, but the entirety of the school.
