Free store opens in NY

NEW YORK (KWWL)-- Who ever said that you don't get anything for free hasn't visited one particular store in Manhattan.

The store, which opened on Friday, lets shoppers take any item they want and they don't have to pay for it!

Athena Robles and Anna Stein, who are both artists, created the store as a way to distribute everyday items at no cost.

All of the merchandise is donated either by the customers themselves or by the owner's friends.

The store, which was funded through grants, is temporary and it is set to close March 22nd.
