University presidents forgo bonuses

DES MOINES (KWWL) -- The presidents of Iowa's three public universities have agreed to forgo bonuses this year in an effort to cut costs.

As Iowa Board of Regents President David Miles announced Friday, they'll also not receive a raise next year.

Miles says the universities and special schools are reviewing their budgets to reduce spending by $62 million over the next two years.
