CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- A one-room schoolhouse on the University of Northern Iowa campus will be featured on television across Iowa.

"Iowa's One-Room Schoolhouses" premieres Sunday, March 1 at noon on IPTV. The documentary tells the story of the 12,000 small structures that once dotted Iowa's landscape - how they were built, who taught and learned in them, and the impact they had on their communities.

Marshall Center School and Dr. Sue Grosboll, UNI Museums Director, contributed to the project and will be featured in the special.

The program will also air Thursday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. on IPTV. To view clips, click here.
