Study: Link between R-rated movies and smoking

UNDATED (KWWL) - A new study found a link between kids watching R-rated movies and smoking.

Researchers from the University of Massachusetts Medical School looked at the habits of over 1200 sixth graders for four years.

Kids whose parents allowed them to watch rated-R movies were up to three times more likely to say its easy to get cigarettes.

And previous studies show kids with access to cigarettes.
