Jumpstart funding flows in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Money continues to flow to victims of Iowa's historic floods with $4 million handed out in Cedar Rapids alone this week.

Jumpstart Iowa officials say checks went out to nearly 400 applicants in the Cedar Rapids area.

Jumpstart Iowa's Cedar Rapids office says it recieved 1,688 applications for housing assistance. It's paid out more than $12 million so far and expects to hand out a total of $35 million for housing help for flood victims.
