WATERLOO (KWWL) - We have had a very cold stretch of weather lately...that is about to come to an end. Temperatures this morning are 10-20 warmer than yesterday morning but the wind chills are the same...single digits below zero. There will be a wide range of high temperatures across the area today due the amount of snow on the ground.
The northern counties will see highs in the upper 20s and low 30s where there is more snow on the ground. The southern counties have little or no snow on the ground and because of that temperatures will warm into the low to mid 40s. Plenty of sunshine is forecast for today.
Tomorrow expect another day with sunshine but during the evening hours clouds will increase from the west. High temperatures area wide will be in the 40s. Low 40s north and upper 40s south.
Saturday the sky will be mostly cloudy with spotty drizzle or spotty shower with highs in the low 40s.
Sunday we will have a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures this weekend will be in the upper 30s and low 40s.
