Keeping that New Year's resolution

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- An accepted part of self-help wisdom finds that it takes only 21 days to develop a new habit.  If you have made it this far on your New Year's resolution to stay in shape it just may stick.

Staff at Anytme Gitness in Cedar Falls say they see a bit of an influx after the new year but it typically remains steady.

Anytime Fitness member, brent dahlstrom says it's the healthy feeling that keeps him going.

"I've just learned through the years that before I stoped working out it was persistance that paid off." said Dahlstrom.  "It's easy to quit, but I feel a lot better when I'm doing it."

The Anytime Fitness staff also recommend getting into programs and working with fitness instructors to continue setting new goals and keep that resolution.
