WATERLOO (KWWL) - Gusty wind will cause drifting snow in the open country causing roads to be covered with snow in some locations.

A wind chill advisory will go into effect at 9 p.m. Friday through Saturday at noon.

Much colder air has now moved in and will stick around through early next week.

Clouds and flurries are forecast today with a gusty wind from the northwest.

Temperatures will fall into the teens Friday and highs will only make it into the single digits for the weekend. Plenty of sunshine on the way Saturday with a slight chance of a few light snow showers on Sunday.
