Deliciously Different Dining Experience announced

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Eleven downtown Waterloo businesses are partnering with Main Street Waterloo to create an enlightening event on the darkest day of the year.

Taste of ‘Loo - A Deliciously Different Dining Experience - will be January 22, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.  With the purchase of a passport for $20.00 per person, each of the participating establishments will provide you with one sample of their specialty.

Participating downtown locations include:

Arthouse Café (Waterloo Center for the Arts), 225 Commercial St.; The Brown Bottle 209 W. 5th St.; Classic Kitchen & Bath, 220 E. 4th St.; Cottonwood Canyon, 218 E. 4th St.; CU Restaurant  320 E. 4th St.; Doughy Joey's Peetza Joynt, 300 W. 4th St.; Jameson's Public House, 310 E. 4th St.; La Chiquita Mexican Restaurant, 301 E. 4th St.; Lucy's Café, inside the River Plaza Athletic Club at 10 W. 4th St.; San Souci Restaurant inside of Bridges Senior Lifestyle Living Community at 214 Washington St.; and The Screaming Eagle American Bar and Grill 228 E. 4th St.
