Minnesota Twins caravan coming to Cedar valley

Cedar Falls (KWWL) -- The Minnesota Twins caravan is coming to the Cedar Valley.

The Twins promotional tour will stop at Pepper's Grill and Sports Pub in Cedar Falls on Wednesday January 21st.

The Twins caravan will feature starting pitchers Nick Blackburn and Scott Baker, pitching coach Rick Anderson and former Twins player and current broadcaster Dan Gladden.  Twin's mascot TC will also be there.

"We are thrilled to host the Twins during their visit to the Cedar Valley," said Jim Coloff General manager of 1650AM the Fan which is sponsoring the event.

"They are a fantastic organization, and one of the best at promotional activities like the winter caravan.  If you are a Twins fan, you won't want to miss this chance to support your favorite MLB team," said Coloff.

The program will start at 11:00am with lunch at 11:30am.

There is a limited amount of tickets available for the event.  Tickets cost $10, which includes lunch at Pepper's.  There is also a limited number of VIP tickets which cost $20.  VIP tickets include an autograph session and a meet and greet before the program.

The Twin's caravan will leave Cedar Falls and go to New Hampton where they will speak at New Hampton High School.  That event is open to the public.
