The winter weather is keeping families at home, making this the perfect time to reinvent the family meal. The Visiting Nurse Association, the Board of Health and Hyvee are encouraging healthy eating habits by teaching people to cook healthy and economically at home. At each "Healthy Meals in a Hurry" cooking class, participants prepare and eat a meal, and take a kit to prepare the meal at home. Classes last three sessions, once a week. The cost is 15-dollars, but is valued at 75-dollars if you include food. It begins in about two weeks and runs until June. You can choose to meet any day Monday through Thursday in the Dubuque area.
