Researchers are learning more about the link between obstructive sleep apnea and strokes. The key may be the surges and drops in oxygen and blood pressure in the brain that occur with sleep apnea. Yale University researchers say those episodes repeated over and over may eventually damage the body's ability to regulate blood pressure and blood flow to the brain.
