Grundy County arrests 5 for burglary and check forgery

CONRAD (KWWL) -- Grundy County authorities say they've arrested 5 people in connection with a burglary and check forgery crime.

The Grundy County Sheriff's office say the five people are accused in a case where someone broke into a mobile home in Conrad, stole checks and forged some of those checks to use at businesses in Grundy Center.

Grundy County authorities arrested and charged 3 people with third degree burglary and forgery. 

Nels McMullen, 28, Conrad, remains in jail on $25,000 bond.

Kristina Bennet, 43, Conrad, remains in jail on $8,000 bond.  Bennet is also being held on a Probation Violation warrant from Missouri.

Robert Bradley, 18, Conrad , released from jail Wednesday morning.

Two other people invloved in the case are also charged with third-degree burglary.

Ashley Bradley, 24, Eldora , released on promise to appear.

Brian Miller, 22, Eldora, released on promise to appear.

Grundy county authorities are still investigating the case
