Warren likes Armstrong off the bench

Cedar Falls, IA--K.K. Armstrong is good enough to start for the Panthers.  The freshman from Cedar Rapids Washington is second on the team in scoring at 10.7 ppg but she also leads the team in turnovers.

Today at the Panthers weekly press conference, head coach Tanya Warren explained that she likes Armstrong to come off the bench because, "Bringing K.K. off the bench allows her to sit and see how the game is going. We have her sit next to a coach so we can talk to her, giving her an idea in terms of what's going on on both ends of the floor. So now when she comes in, she's giving us great energy, she's doing a great job of driving to the basket and getting to the free throw line. She's playing with a lot more poise."
