Ferentz Rumored to be a candidate in Cleveland

So much for beach day.  Less than two days before the Outback Bowl, another offseason of Kirk Ferentz rumors is just starting.  Last year, it was Michigan, this time it's the Cleveland Browns.

According to the Boston Herald, New England Patriots personal director Scott Pioli is the frontrunner for the vacant Cleveland general manager position and his first choice for a head coach would be Iowa's Kirk Ferentz.

Pioli and Ferentz, as an offensive line coach, worked together in Cleveland from 1992-1996.  Both survived the move from Cleveland to Baltimore and the firing of head Coach Bill Belichick.
