WATERLOO (KWWL)-- Six charter flights taking University of Iowa Hawkeye football fans to Tampa, Florida for the Outback Bowl depart Monday and Tuesday.
Airport Director Dan Mann said it is a tremendous boost to the airport to have the charters.
"Hawkeye fans are loyal and love to travel to see their team and we are happy to help them start off their trip with a good experience at the airport," he said.
Regularly scheduled airline flights are expected to be near full on those two mornings, which will make for an extra busy terminal.
Outback Bowl passengers are encouraged to come to the airport at least two hours in advance of their flight departure time.
Mann also reminds people of the valet parking service offered by the CID Skycaps. For more information, contact 398-7077, or ask for Skycap assistance upon arrival at the terminal.
