JOHNSTON (KWWL) - Iowa's state auditor said he opposes the idea of selling the lottery to help solve state budget problems.
Auditor David Vaudt said selling the state lottery would squander a future revenue stream.
Governor Chet Culver says he has spoken with backers of such a sale but has made no decisions about the proposal.
