24-7 Chapel still strong after a year

WATERLOO (KWWL)-- A 24-7 chapel is still going strong after one year.

Last Monday, the double mass at Columbus High School in Waterloo celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and the one year anniversary of the Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist.

The chapel is at Columbus High School and requires two people to be in the chapel every hour of every day.

It takes more than 300 volunteers to have people in the chapel round-the-clock.

"It's a huge, huge commitment from our people. It takes coverage here at the Chapel at Columbus 24 hours a day, seven says a week, year round. We obviously have wonderful commitment from these people," says Joni Hansen of Perpetual Adoration.

You can still sign up to be an 'adorer' by calling 319-230-0836.
