Gas prices drop to lowest point in nearly five years

CAMARILLO, Calif. (KWWL) -- The price of gasoline keeps dropping.

Analyst Trilby Lundberg says the average price fell 22 cents a gallon during the past two weeks to its lowest level in nearly five years.

The average price of regular on Friday was $1.75 a gallon.

Of cities surveyed, the nation's lowest price was $1.46 in Cheyenne, Wyo.

The highest was $2.54 in Anchorage, Alaska.

According to gasbuddy.com, a Waterloo gas station has the lowest price in the state at $1.51 per gallon.
