CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- Craig Brackins set season highs with 32 points and 16 rebounds and Iowa State beat Northern Iowa 71-66 in overtime on Tuesday night, snapping a 10-game road losing streak.

Diante Garrett added 17 points for the Cyclones (5-1), who blew a late lead in regulation before holding Northern Iowa (4-3) to just four points in OT.

Garrett drove through the lane for a layup and hit a free throw that put the Cyclones up 68-66 with 47.8 seconds left. Northern Iowa's Kerwin Dunham, whose 3 at the end of regulation sent the game into overtime, then lost the ball out of bounds -- and Adam Koch missed a 3 with 14 seconds left that would tied the game.
