Crows are the enemy at one local park

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL)  -- Cedar Rapids has decided to take on the crows after all.

The city of Cedar Rapids is fighting a bird problem in Greene Square Park.

Crows are gathering there in the thousands.

The city crew will place boards in trees attached with dead crows in hopes that this will drive the birds away.

National crow expert Kevin McGowan says a winter roost in a particular city can consist of more than 100,000 crows.
