Well-known Dubuque radio personality dies

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -- A radio station and community is mourning after the tragic death of a well-known radio personality.

Patrick Mormann was the afternoon host on KAT-FM. He died in a one-car roll over crash Sunday evening on Highway 151 north of Anamosa. A ten-year veteran of KAT-FM, Patrick was the station's assistant program director, music director and helped produce radio broadcasts for Iowa Hawkeye football games on the Hawkeye Radio Network.

KAT-FM posted a statement on their website saying, "Our prayers go out to Patrick's family and friends. Patrick will be sadly missed by us all."

Visitation for Mormann will be Friday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Kramer funeral home in Dyersville. His funeral is at 10:30 am Saturday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg.
