CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL)-- One person is dead and 11 others are without a home Tuesday morning after a fire on the northeast side of Cedar Rapids.

Fire officials were called to a house fire in the 1500 block of A Avenue NE just after 10 p.m. Monday.

When fire crews arrived, fire and heavy smoke was coming out of the second floor structure.
