Online bill pay now available for North Liberty

NORTH LIBERTY (KWWL) -- The City of North Liberty is now offering an additional method of paying City utility bills online.

The new feature allows residents not only to pay water, sewer, storm water and recycling fees over the Internet, but also allows them to review utility usage history and billing for the past year.

Access to the site is available through the North Liberty city web site or by directly visiting

Users will need to create a login and password, as well as refer to the most recent utility bill for an account number and payment amount when setting up their new online account.

This service is available year-round and payments can be made with either Visa or MasterCard. There is a $1.25 convenience fee for paying utility bills online.

Payments can still be made over the counter at North Liberty City Hall or through automated bank payments. There are no fees for paying with check, cash or credit card at City hall.

"We are proud to be one of the first municipalities in the area to offer this service," said City Administrator Ryan Heiar. "This added feature is just one of the many ways North Liberty offers expediency to the community. The support and feedback from the public is invaluable. We are here to serve and are growing in our services and outreach."
