Burlington radio journalist dies

WEST BURLINGTON (AP) - A longtime radio journalist in Burlington has died.

Police and fire crews found the body of 51-year-old J.K. Martin on Monday morning. He was unconscious on the floor of his West Burlington house, and his 50-year-old wife, Amy Martin, was in and out of consciousness.

A medical examiner pronounced J.K. Martin dead a short time later. His wife was taken to a hospital, where her condition wasn't available.

Foul play isn't suspected. Officials initially suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, but fire crews couldn't detect any lethal levels of the gas.

J.K. Martin worked at KBUR and KGRS from 1990 until last June.
