CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- While most of us are bundling up, others are getting pumped up for the sub-arctic temperatures of Iowa's winter.
The Polar Plunge in Cedar Falls this year will be held Dec. 6.
College students, law enforcement officers and other community members brave the cold to benefit the Special Olympics.
This year's plunge at Prairie Lakes Park will be the last for president and CEO Rich Fellingham who helps organize the event.
He's retiring at the end of the year.
