Dress a goat: Only at the Cedar Valley Chase

WATERLOO/CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- A fundraiser for the Cedar Valley United Way brings people together in a race through the Cedar Valley.

More than 100 people raced through what's called the "Cedar Valley Chase."  It's a 12 stage course, bringing teams of 12 together to compete in multiple activities.  Tasks included trying to find a key in a pumpkin while blindfolded, then unlocking a handcuffed teammate.  They also had to dress a goat.

"There's a little bit of apprehension because its the unknown, but we're up for the challenge.  We're ready to win," said Amy Olson.

The teams had to finish ten of the events before they crossed the finish line.  Organizer's of the "Cedar Valley Chase " hoped to raise about $4,000 Cedar Valley United Way.
