Illinois running back may miss Iowa game

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) - Illinois may be without top rusher Daniel Dufrene when they face Iowa on Saturday.

Coach Ron Zook says Dufrene isn't with the team this week while he takes care of unspecified personal problems.

Zook says Dufrene can play if he wants to Saturday, but the coach says that's a decision the junior running back will make.

Dufrene is from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and he's started seven games this season. He has 539 yards on 97 carries.

Freshman Jason Ford has more carries the past two games, though. Ford has rushed for 234 yards on the season, most of that in those two games.
