On an historic night in his hometown-- Our Athlete of the Week had the game of a lifetime. Janesville trailed Dunkerton 22-14 at halftime, in the second half Jeromey Despard, the Wildcats' number two running back, scored four straight touchdowns to put Janesville back on top for good.
Jeromey Despard almost couldn't play Wednesday night. A nagging groin injury and a bruised left hand kept Despard out of contact practice all week.
Despard managed to play and play well finishing with 105 rushing yards. Janesville won their ninth game of the the season, a school record, 46-38 but the Wildcats have bigger plans. To accomplish them, the Wildcats must stand by their mantra; be strong be fast, be feared.
