DIKE (KWWL) -- Dike-New Hartford led 21-6 with less than 2 minutes to go in the first half but a late 2nd quarter touchdown helped Sumner-Fredericksburg overcome the 15 point deficit to win 22-21.

The Cougars were intercepted on the first play from scrimmage when Dike-New Hartford senior Jordan Myers took an errant pass the other way to the Sumner-Fredericksburg 1 yard line.  3 plays later, fullback Jasenn Greiner made it 7-0 with a 2 yard run.

Later in the 2nd quarter, Dike-New Hartford's defense would force another turnover,a Frisch fumble recover at the Sumner-Fredericksburg 48.  Wolverines quarterback Matt Dove finished the drive with a 1 yard sneak to make the score 14-6.

The Cougars came out in their two-minute drill when Frisch was intercepted on a screen pass by Jon Mulder who took the ball back to the Cougar 20 yard line.  On 3rd and 13, Dove fumbled the snap, picked up the football and threw a high arching pass to wideout Adam Johnson who stole the ball out of mid-air in the endzone to put the Wolverines up 21-6.

With less than a minute to go in the first half, Mohs broke off a 76 yard touchdown run to inspire a 22-21 comeback victory.
