Cedar Rapids Police investigate bank robbery


CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) --  Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a bank robbery.  It happened around 10:00 a.m. Friday at Guaranty Bank at 191 Jacolyn Drive NW. 

According to police, the suspect is described as a black male, early 20's, approximately 6'0, 180 pounds wearing a white sweatshirt with blue writing, carrying a brief case of some kind. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money.

Police expect to release photos soon.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is still investigating the Robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank that happened on October 18, 2008 at 3570 1 Ave NE. The description of this suspect is similar to the robbery at Guaranty Bank.
