Aplington-Parkersburg vs. Denver

DENVER (KWWL) --  The Falcons preparing to go into the playoffs with nine wins and zero loses under their belt.

It must be hunting season for the Falcons because quarterback Alec Thompson has got a gun for a throwing arm.  A-P's first score is through the air with Thompson hitting tight end James Grill in the end zone for six.

Denver would answer right back,  quarterback Aaron Elbert hits number 28 Zach Piehl and he would do the rest. Piehl is gone for 65 yards to the big house.

A-P would score two more touchdowns and go up 20 to seven.

Denver would once again take to the air. Elber hits JD Sparkman and Sparkman would light up the Falcons secondary.  He would take the ball 40 plus yards to the end zone.

After that touchdown the Falcons would bring out the whuppin stick,  Riley Ubben busts it in for six. That drive would make Ubben the third Falcon to go over one-thousand yards this season.

The final touchdown of the half would be the Falcons going through the air. Thompson hits Grill for an easy six.

Falcons would go on to win tonight 54 to 14.
