Grace likely out for Youngstown State

Cedar Falls, Iowa -- Head coach Mark Farley didn't completely rule out quarterback Pat Grace starting Saturday at Youngstown State, but called it unlikely.  As to when Grace would likely go again, Farley said it could be two weeks, it could be four, but he will likely return sometime this season.

But for Saturday, redshirt freshman Zach Davis out of Washington, Iowa, should get the nod for his first start.  Davis is a tough running, big quarterback similar to Grace, and today Coach Farley did his best to keep a positive light on the entire situation

"Don't look doom and gloom, man.  Pat will be alright. We'll be fine and the defense will step up, and I tell you what, Zach and our offense, Zach is a pretty talented young man and there's a lot of upside to what could happen the rest of the season."

The Panthers travel to Youngstown, Ohio next Saturday.  Kickoff with the Penguins is set for 3:00 PM.
