Dysart, Iowa (KWWL)-- With a district title in sight, Central Dewitt came out fired up and ready to go in their 39-15 rout over the Union Knights.

The Sabres opened up the scoring on a one yard touchdown run from fullback Gregory Oldsen.  They would add a 40 yard touchdown strike from quarterback Tyler Smith to Casey Kreiter as they jumped on top 13 - 0 in the second quarter.

Union would look to make a game of it as Garrett Woodson hit Jared Wauters on a 19 yard score as the Knights pulled within 6 at the halftime break.

The second half belonged to Central Dewitt, however, as Oldsen struck the biggest blow just seconds into the half as he rattled off a 63 yard touchdown run for a 12 point lead.  The Sabres outscored the Knights 26 - 8 in the second stanza as the rolled to the win by a 24 point margin to clinch the #1 spot out of district 4.

Union, who's already clinched a playoff spot, travels to Maquoketa next Friday to play for the #3 seed.
