2004 nominee stumps for Obama in Waterloo

WATERLOO (KWWL) - Decision 2008 brought former presidential nominee John Kerry back to Iowa Wednesday.

The Massuchusetts senator visted Waterloo to stump for Barack Obama.
He was the guest speaker for the opening of Obama's 50th campaign office in Iowa.

Campaign officials say they have opened so many offices to allow more Iowans to get involved in the election process.

For Barack to win, Kerry says Obama needs to stay focused during these next couple weeks.
"Just keep working as hard as he can and don't let up for one instant don't take any vote for granted and go out there and ask America to join in this great effort to restore our country. I think if he does that he'll win."

Compared to Obama's 50 offices, the McCain campaign has only 16 offices in Iowa.
