Cyclones shift focus to Nebraska

Posted:

Ames, Iowa -- If ever there was a time to just forget about a game and leave it behind you, this is it for Iowa State after they got blasted 38-0 by the Baylor Bears.

Nothing seemed to go right for the Cyclones as the Bears took over right from the start.  Now with Nebraska coming to town this weekend, Coach Gene Chizik is without a doubt ready to move on.

"That was the worst performance to date in my opinion," says Chizik, "I think that was clear for everybody to see.  I don't feel like any point in the game we were in it, and so we've got to move on."

Kickoff between the Cyclones and Huskers is set for 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Ames.
