TRAER (KWWL) --  The powerful North Tama Red Hawks have separated themselves from the pack in Class A District 6. A North Tama win tonight over GMG would mathematically clinch a postseason berth for the unbeaten Red Hawks.

In the first minutes of the first quarter, QB Wyatt Hanus takes it in for six,  with the extra point North Tama would go up seven.

But then the Wolverines defense would shine. Running back Dylan Youel would lose the ball and number 37 Jake Wall of GMG picks it up and takes it 33 yards to the house, tying the game with four minutes left in the first quarter.

Then an interception by the Wolverines sets up a score by Brad Holloway who takes it in for six. With the extra point GMG goes up 14 to 7.

The rest of the first half would be all North Tama. Dylan Youel would take the ball thirty plus yards to the end zone.

To cap off the first half Wyatt Hanus would air it out to Justin Meggers for six. With the extra point the Red Hawks would go into halftime 28-14 and it would not get any better for the Wolverines. North Tama goes on to win 35 to 14.
