The N-P Huskies came out ready to toss the ball at their competition but it was the rebels that came out toss'n the ball early and often. Unfortunately, their first drive would stall in the red zone after number 16 Shane Weinberg picked off the pass for the Huskies.

N-P went a quick three and out and the Rebels would drive it deep into the red zone again only to fumble it away, number 22, Austin Schmidt, turns it back over to the Huskies. Early in the second quarter, the Rebels finally completing a drive. Number 22, Austin Schmidt around the right side, three yards out for the score. Then it was one of those crazy formations with the offensive line off to one side except for the center. A quick snap caught everyone off guard and number 47, Brett Bengen, for the Rebels hauled in a pass for 2 points putting G-R up 8 to zip.

The Huskies would attempt to get some points on the board with a field goal midway through the second quarter, but it was no good. Half-time score 8 to zero Rebels. The final score would be 15 to 8 G-R after the Rebels would score the winning touchdown with only 15 ticks left in the game.
